    Edinburgh to London. Map of the two Great Post Roads from. Edinburgh to London. The map above was drawn by McIntyre, and engraved by Alexander Kincaid of Edinburgh. It was published in Kinkaid's Travellers' Companion, This map is taken from a book in the collection of the Edinbrugh Room at Edinburgh Central LIbrary. Though established as a bookseller and publisher, Luffman began his career as an engraver. His earliest cartographic work was a series of maps for two road books, Mostyn John Armstrong's An Actual Survey Of The Great Post-Roads Between London And Edinburgh and Taylor And Skinner's Survey And Maps Of The Roads Of North Britain, Or Scotland.
